MonroeWorks is a collaborative effort by the City of Monroe and its Good Jobs, Great Cities Academy Community Cohort. In 2023, Monroe was recognized as a Good Jobs, Great Cities Destination City, one of only 16 cities nationwide; the recognition and Good Jobs, Great Cities Academy are programs by the National League of Cities and the U.S. Department of Labor.
